How do I sign up to Petbuds as a Pet Owner?

You can download our app at Google Play or on the App Store. Alternatively, you can visit www.Petbuds.co.uk and register for free online.

 

How do I reset my password?

When you sign into the app select ‘forgot password’ you will get a notification email and will be able to reset your password. Alternatively, if you need support please contact admin@petbuds.co.uk

 

How do I find a Pet Carer?

Create and account via the website or the app and create an ad.  Give as much information about your pet’s requirements, length of visit/walk, feeding, medication etc. to ensure the carer knows exactly what you want from them and can quote accordingly.

 

What services do you provide?

We can provide a regular or occasional dog walking service, visiting/companionship for cats and other small pets so that they can stay at home while owners are away for the weekend or on holiday. We also offer home sitting where we stay and look after both home and pets while owners are away. All pets are catered for using our professional and respected standards.

 

Can I meet the pet carer before the first booking?

We always suggest a meeting between the pet owner and prospective carer just to make that everybody is happy before the booking and to ensure your pet is comfortable around your chosen carer.

 

Why do the quotes vary in price so much?

Each individual/business that quotes on a caring job will have their own pricing structure and pricing requirements. The cheapest quote is not always the best and it is always best to regard every quote on its own merit.

 

What is a service record?

The service record in your account logs all of the activity that your carer/carers has undertaken in any given period. The service record provides proof of the work undertaken in the caring of your pet.

Are my personal details secure?

We are licensed by the ICO (Information Commissioners Office) and have a duty of care when we deal with your personal data. The carers will only see your relevant information once you have instructed them to be a pet carer.

 

Are my payment details secure?

Our payment portal is secure and is operated by Stripe, one of the largest payment companies in the world.

 

When do I pay?

For one off short notice bookings we require payment up front. For long term bookings we do not take payment until the week before the work starts.

 

How do I cancel a booking?

You will be required to inform your carer and us as soon as possible. Each refund authorisation is down to the pet carers own cancellation policy. Once authorised we will action any refund within 3 working days.

 

I need a pet carer at short notice?

We have many pet carers without much notice, simply post your job and you will receive short notice quotes ASAP.

 

My pet has medical issues, can I still book?

Yes, we will attempt to match your requirements to the pet carers with the most relevant experience.

 

What is a certified business?

Some pet caring services also provide additional forms of identification including, additional insurance certificates, DBS checks and ID. When a pet caring business has shared these documents with us, we upload our stamp of certification to their profile. Below is an example of each logo:
